The open Window

The open Window

A Poem by KieraCrimeScene
"

like this one. About seeing everything in life, good or bad.

"

The Open Window

People always look out

And never in

They see the birds

And the trees

And the flowers

And the bees

And all the bright colors

Of the rainbow

But do they ever see

What their looking through?

An open window

And what is around the open window

The dark picture on the wall

The dim lighting in the room

The other people around them,

Who see all of the gloom

Maybe there is more

Than just an open window

I really enjoyed this poem. I liked the imagery from bright to dark. Do people "always" look out and "never" in, though? It seems to me that you are "people" and that's just what you have done in this poem, beautifully. Good work!
