Mistakes

Mistakes

A Poem by Rodney Carlstrom

Mistakes

Mistakes are something that we live with,
Words written in blood that say: "I'm sorry,"
Flap in the motionless wind of time,
On the white tattered flag of my soul,
There's only so many ways a person can say it,
"I'm sorry," isn't good enough, I know this now,
Even though I've said it a thousand times,
Can you still find a way to forgive me?

Hmm,
a good honest poem.
I like it.
Short &...uhh...sweet?
Well Done.
