A Poem by Kiddo

I long for days that don't exist

Except for in the corners of my memory

Lost in a world of kisses

And dreams of you and me

Like we used to be...

Before...

I reside in a world of night

Searching for the pieces of you in my dreams

Trying to mend the shattered images

Puzzle pieces, interlocking

I start to see you, blurred

Like a water spotted photograph

Foggy, shrouded by the mists of memory

Memories of us...

Before...

That's all I have left

This was a very heartfelt read. I enjoyed it very much. Memory of happy times can be even more painfull then bad times themselves. I have experienced that alot myself. Thank you for sharing this work, I hope that i can effect others into making a stronger attempt at staying out of the fog and into the light. Great job! keep it up!
