Disposable

Disposable

A Poem by Kiddo

underneath the leaves and dirt and dust of forgotten memories

i found a picture of you and me

taken in bed with a disposable camera

long before i thought our relationship was disposable

you looked so beautiful

and i looked happy

i thought i had destroyed all evidence

removed any proof that i had loved you

but the past has a way of resurfacing

when you least want it to

There will always be someone, something or a scent to unexpectedly open memory lane to a life long ago.
Good rhythm and meaning. Nice job.
