crimson bleeding

crimson bleeding

A Poem by Dreamer (Kristen)
"

In memory of Rose

"

The cold object I hold in my hand

Sharp against my skin

Beautifully silver

It makes the pain go away

It takes away my suffering

I see crimson red

Dripping away

What a wonderful color

With every drop that falls

It mesmerizes me once again

Pools of warm liquid are forming

It calms me down

I can only see magnificent colors

The taste of metal in my mouth

Oh, so it was blood

I hear screams

Unfamiliar voices

Cold hands touching my face

They wipe away my half forgotten tears

I fall into a deep sleep

This poem was both disturbing, unsettling, and amazing. It has wonderful imagery and feeling. I can feel the knife against my skin. The questions in there seem to disrupt the flow of the words slightly though, however, this is easily dealt with. Good job! Keep writing...
