In this world were reality
Living in a fucked up generational complex "life is hard but it goes on"
We live in a world filled with fake friends and unbearable exs from past lives "welcome to reality"
Where a person can not give two f***s about what you've done or who you been with because at the end of the day all they want is you
"people can bring you down to the lowest point of life til the day you choose to give up"
To some people suicide is a game "yet all their really doing is escaping from the fears and escaping from you"
Reality isn't a game either "mind you people have dreams"
They dream nothing will ever happened to them or their family
"PROTECTION"
definition ... A person or thing that protects
But why do people make promises they can't keep?
Why did your best friend tell you to let it go?
You were only fourteen
Reality ... How many teens go through parents getting divorced, raped, doing drugs, losing their best friend, pregnancy or killing themselves in order to escape reality to paradise
How many people have you bullied within five years?
How many people have killed themselves ?
Have you ever lost one of your family members because someone killed them?
How many teens do drugs ?
When you think about did you ever think about any of this when you were in elementary school
"a place where kids would make friends and play on playgrounds"
Now were here standing side by side for gay rights
Saying no to rape and suicide
And protecting our new born babies from reality " we've become stronger"
We laugh and cry with our friends
But sometimes we pretend like s**t is ok because we don't want anyone to know what's going on inside our heads
"I've attempted to kill myself"
"guys used to bully me for being gay"
"I was raped and I wanted it to stop"
As we look our selves in the mirror everyday
"WHO ARE YOU LOOKING AT?"
We have dreams
Dreams that shouldn't be broken nor hearts "sometimes I wonder where the love is in all of this"
Because its sick and horrifying to know a person could hurt somebody so badly that they just give up
"NEVER GIVE UP"
