ETHNIC CONTROVERSY

Its about my dad

"momma what does n****r mean"
I remember that day because when I was a kid
I was walking past a group of white guys
"look it's n****r"
One of them said and i looked confused because I never knew what I meant
One day I walked home from school and I noticed them about to beat up my friend
"I didn't know what to do"
I was lost but my mother told its an ethnic controversy between whites and blacks
In other words "RASISM"
I was a little kid not knowing what it meant when they called me a n****r
And I was young boy asking his mother what it means
Day by day the white guys would stand in the corner "messing with other guys like me and even the girls"
Ethnic controversy
Not knowing if they would beat me or kill me
I was a kid raised by his mother and father in queens, new York "how did it feel to be called a n****r?"
It felt weird and I was lost until I understood what it meant "YES I AM BLACK"
But I knew being called a n****r was wrong
"Ethnic controversy"
A fight between black and white Americans
Where what I've seen is people coming to together after years of separation and name calling
"whites were crackers and blacks were n*****s"
And I was a young boy raised in queens experiencing this ethnic controversy
