Teenage DramaA Poem by Khushi MadanTeenage life can be very tough to handle... popularity, crushes, glam, fame and studies can all be a mess...Thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen Seventeen, eighteen and nineteen too These are just the seven years Where you don’t know what to do These years are most memorable They are so funny and dramatic You’re always up and on your feet You never be static Popularity, parties and fame Is all what you want If you don’t do all this correctly It might all be a haunt Instagram, twitter and snapchat Is all what we need You have to be at the top You have to take the lead Crushes can be tough It makes you over think When you are around them Your face turns all pink The last bench in class Is where everyone wants to be That’s the popular place you know Can’t you really see? Puberty hit us so hard We aren’t ‘kids’ anymore Popularity is a dangerous room Which has an open door Fights, anger, fits and crying Are emotions you see the most You are deep into the ocean An have fallen off the coast These things might suck a lot But you know who’ll have your back True friends you’ll find here The nice and genuine pack These guys are tough to find But they are somewhere there They are the ones who matter most Cause they are the ones who care Trustworthy, understanding and helpful Is perfect to define them They are one out of a million A unique precious gem Life is not so tough When they are by your side They pull you out of sadness And take you for a joyful ride. ~Khushi Madan © 2017 Khushi MadanAuthor's Note
