You'll soon be gone

You'll soon be gone

A Poem by Khushi Madan
"

The pain we feel when someone so close to our heart is leaving and is going away is unbearable... a poem on missing someone you love

"

You’ll soon be gone

Following your own path

I’ll be happy for you

But I’ll miss you so hard

You’ll soon be gone

Somewhere far away

Somewhere you belong

Somewhere you can stay

You’ll soon be gone

But I don’t know where

My heart will stay with you

I’ll miss you when you’re there

You’ll soon be gone

But our memories won’t fade

Even when you’re not with me

I’ll still be your shade

You’ll soon be gone

But time passes by

You’ll see a smile on my face

But inside ill always cry

You’ll soon be gone

I hope you miss me

I wish you can come back and unlock

My sadness with your key.

At first I thought that it should be 'lock my sadness' instead of 'unlock my sadness' but then I got what you meant was bottled sadness that has become too much and want it to be released.

One is never too young to understand these feelings they are part and parcel of life and you have expressed acceptance of letting them go and your own sadness. It is commendable :)

You are pretty strong and I liked the way you think and the flow of lines.
Thanks for sharing :)
