AmenA Poem by B.Y.A.N.O.E.Abstraction of religion.Breaking away from the dark A pain so severe it severs
The tie of untouchable faith
Like sheep they follow the dawn
Until the perfect sunrise breaks
Shattering multicolored hope
All over the pavement
Where blind feet tread
The faceless populace
Abandoning logic
So committed to an institution
Of untouchable holiness
And yet denying truth
Giving the cold shoulder
To a warm sensual caress
That would awaken them
From their fanciful reverie
They choose instead to dwell
Within their beautiful nightmares
A bittersweet euphoria
