pealing skin

pealing skin

A Poem by khepri juarnol
"

life

"

i ran away and i came back

to the cold hell of my old tracks

with fear of none

i close my eyes

i scream aloud what have i done

it may make me cry and i may fail again

but until hell is hot i'm pealing skin

when i awake ill be not the same                                                                                                   in my old skin all blood with much shame

To be honest, I had no idea what this really meant until I read the comments. HOWEVER after I reread it the meaning totally jumped out at me. That's a really awesome and powerful poem. Keep up the good work!

I totally understand this one for once. :) Like how you make mistakes and swear you won't go back but somehow you do end up back where you started because you keep doing it over and over again. And once you have that, it's hard to break free from it. I really liked this one.

We learn from our past mistakes but to often we seem to repeat them instead of learn. Finding that who we are is as much of those things from our past that we try to forget but find an uncomfortable familiarity to them. I liked this and the way it was written in a fashion that allowed the read to relate and understand that place as we seem to have all been there at some point int time.

Great Job!!!!!!!!!
