October FoolA Poem by KhelticRyderShe and IOctober Fool As the autumn leaves began to turn colors of bright orange, yellow and red, As the first taste of crisp chilled mornings began to give us that winters dread, She danced into my world, with her beautiful eyes of deep brown pools I was lost within her playful nature and quickly became her October fool. Her ripped jeans played their part, as did her sly slanted smile. I found myself drawn to her, her wit, her charm, her vibrant style. I smiled as she bit her bottom lip, as her jeans revealed their treasures She playfully walked along while hinting at hidden pleasures. I found myself losing control, enchanted by this woman; I was breaking all my rules As I nervously parked upon a hill and began exploring her body, I became her October fool. That first night we made love for hours and hours, entwined in each other’s embrace That is when I first caressed her soft tender, sweet beautiful face. As the fall winds and rains thundered around us, sweat trailed across our bodies, we were lost in lust, our passion matched the storm raging outside, as I gave her my heart, my soul, my body and trust. And then as the November frost began to move in, we fell together then tore apart I lost her as suddenly as I found her; we broke each other’s heart I am left incomplete, an emptiness within my soul as my world begins to turn cruel She has drifted away never to return, yet I still remain her October fool. © 2010 T A Duncan © 2010 KhelticRyder |
