Active Words

Active Words

A Poem by K.H. Law
"

Basically about how actions speak louder than words.

"

Actions speak louder than words.

Sweet nothings are still nothings

until someone give it some worth.

Expression of true love

will never be true.

Not until the lover places you, all else, above.

Words are used to satisfy,

words are used to calm.

Actions are what speaks, and they cannot be shy.

Trust cannot be founded,

in just words alone.

Make words active, and have love abounded.

Wow! This was beautiful. I am a firm believer that anything a person is thinking can be turned into spectacular words. This poem really opened my mind though, that maybe somethings are better served as actions. I especially loved the line "sweet nothings are still nothings until someone give it some worth." Keep up the amazing work.
