My heart faded

My heart faded

A Poem by AKhaus
"

Alice in Wonderland fading under the misery of love lost

"
Can you feel me when that cold, winter's breeze crosses your cheeks?
I am beyond reach but look to the Northern Star to remember me.
I have drifted far above and below, over the stars and below the sea.
Can you feel me when that fire rages under that winter sky?
The ice is melting slowly but never fast enough to catch me running by...
Never quick enough to catch that northern hare.
Do you sit under that ancient tree imagining me without that frost that covers me?
I hope when you close those beautiful eyes in the deepest dark you can see me before I fade away.
I hope that the bitterness doesn't consume the sweetest moments that cut straight to my heart.
Can you feel me when you take that dive, beneath the waves, below the world's comprehension of me?
Can you see me in that darkness, just running by?
Don't define those moments with the thickness of your disdain.
I hope to see you there in those dreams before I fade away.
Numbing pain freezing these limbs, stopping this desire, never to bleed, no more passion to feed.
Faded...

I love this!! I felt this poem and I felt you, I love the descriptions you used to describe how something feels. I interpreted this poem as a “i hope you don’t completely let me go or forget me” and I feel that. It was beautiful, thank you!
