Control Freak

Control Freak

A Poem by AKhaus
"

ranting observation of a person I know

"
Cold, distant, unyielding all in an attempt to project the fears which consume. A cry for help in the pain they leave.
The sadness of knowing that this person so deeply wounded cannot control anything through the attempt of controlling everything.
It is not the lack of intelligence which hinders, it is the gaping whole that is hidden by such deflections and violence.
A person transformed into a monstrosity to persuade all to look away.
Pushing and insulting yet only a few fail to bend under such attempts to divert the fact this individual needs more than they will ever admit.  The loneliness is confounding in their eyes, the eyes reveal everything.
Hyper focused on irrelevant social conformities, all in an attempt for the acceptance of the person who rejected them.
All of the actions stemming from the absence of that acceptance has left this control freak with a void and lack of control.
