whisper

whisper

A Poem by AKhaus

I am a whisper just sliding into the sand as the water washes away my language and sinks my mortal hand.
Hiding in the colors of the landscape I am lost to you as you wander around and about my skin.
The seething, crackling background glazing across your ears as your steps march towards this destiny.
Learn how to cut me out, to tear me from your chest and that permanent imprint.
End the whispers or they will haunt you into oblivion, torturing your sounds until the black swallows you whole.
