Is it clear?  Can this ever be clear to you?

I want to disappear from everything that was ours and wish it untrue.

Isn't it clear that I need this not to exist and that love we had was foolish.

Tell me you never think of me.  

Tell me I was nothing and your betrayal was never cruel.

Tell me anything but don't tell me you ever loved me.

I don't want to know that it was something more than a dream I had awoken from and it wasn't you.

Make it clear to me I was no more than just a fool, thinking I was in love and you were never cruel.

Tell me what we shared was momentary and would never last.

Tell me something that makes me believe it was never going to be more than just a few seconds or two.

Tell me lies so I can rest my head without worrying about you.

Painful to read. When love goes bad, it really goes bad. There is something to be said for amnesia.
