consequence

consequence

A Poem by AKhaus

What is the consequence of this casualty?
Is it open space without that forlorn face?
Words so easily sewn into the fabric of the moment and I am lost by these arbitrary patterns.
When you think you can trust is when they show you everything you wanted to run from...
A flippant comment, a casual crime, all these things just keep adding up in this mind.
What is the consequence of my casualty to you?
When my skin goes pale and my heart turns blue?
