Minute man

Minute man

A Poem by AKhaus

Instant to eternal the flash of blood resigns itself to my lapel.
Secret whispers that allows the soul to escape the trance of conformity of the reality we must play.
Don’t give me just a word to hear but a love to speak.
For when my love runs dry my soul must leave.
Another minute man makes a promise he can never keep.
She said she loved but her need for control ruined the perfect neat.
Go on goodbye another day shall distance the moment you professed forgiveness as your tale spoils in the nest.
