Fear

Fear

A Poem by AKhaus

I hate you, you little annoying voice.
You sit and speak and wreak and lie and hide...
You love me sometimes and hate me all of the time.
I want you to disappear but I am nothing without you and this constant fear.
I crave your misery and long for your cruelty but then I see her eyes and I need to try to run from what you are, what I have done.
Come ye little b*****d sun and scorch my skin and peel my bones of this ancient plague of mental anguish and stagnant pain.
Others may pray but I just keep walking into the fire’s fray.
No end, no beginning, no whispers in the dichotomous region filled with doors and planes.
