tantalus & sisyphus

tantalus & sisyphus

A Poem by AKhaus

One of hunger and one of pointless efforts.
Tasting nothing as you grasp for that branch.
Pushing up the hill without ever reaching the top.
Maybe it's in the movement that they fail such tasks.
Maybe it's the yearning which holds their obsessions still and limits their peripheral.
The sound of the clock ticking as they have failed repeatedly.
Maybe it's your mind which fools your senses?
Maybe the journey has taken you from your self and this is you lesson.
