the fabric

the fabric

A Poem by AKhaus

You are the make of this moment.
The toiling fiber around the finger which forms you into this.
You are not the past, and not the future.
You are now as you are made exactly in this moment.
The seamstress may tell you different but she only wishes to capture your essence.
Memories can be deceiving, for that was your life then and now you are leaving.
Travel the strands of fabric as you find yourself in this moment.

Indeed you weave the fabric of these words into bolstering someone else's ego and their worth. Perhaps someone you care for or even someone you secretly desire.
