All the king's men

All the king's men

A Poem by AKhaus

The pawns of the play have lost their way and the king has been swept away.
His absence is perilous as his maiden endures the fatalist fears of the flocks which swarm the castle.
His void allows for the slaughter of sows congesting the roads with blood.
His escape from his kingdom will take a dire turn from such strategies intended to learn.
There can be no faith in such pointless schemes performed to gain control of dreamers dreams.
A move so self possessed he has lost his nest and now ponders how he ended up with less.
