Left of me

Left of me

A Poem by AKhaus

Oh how I failed myself in the most heinous ways.
Betraying my honour and listening too fools play.
Can I have retribution for the sins against myself?
Masked foes danced around where I stood as I watched without contesting.
Can I be what I’m meant to be without forgiving what’s left of me?
No sorrows to hold as I move forward hoping to chase those memories away.
