My Father's Shoes

My Father's Shoes

A Poem by AKhaus

My father had good shoes and now I have good shoes.
I can walk with a straight back and a pace that is relaxed.
I can see the light bouncing off of the leather as my gate is postured to a tone like no other.
I have my father's shoes and I can walk with freedom of mind.
I worked so hard and now I can find the strength in such shoes.
