Mother's Tongue

Mother's Tongue

A Poem by AKhaus

I speak with my Mother's Tongue.
I speak with the richness of my soul and the essence of earth.
I look to the north for the sun to fail while the rooster dies a slow death.
I speak with the Moon's Tears.
I speak with the fluidity of heavenly things which birth in my mouth.
I look to the west for the sky to wither while the coyote lingers on the edge of this world.
I speak with Eternity's Tongue.
I speak with the ebony echo which surrounds your head and while the voices ring from the undead.
I look to the south for the sea to evaporate while the spider becomes tangled in its own web.
I speak without a tongue.
I speak with silence.
I look to the east for nothing while the dreams fade and I disappear.
