Mama I don't want to feel bad, but it's what I got and I have to feel even if it's sad.

I wander on the edges hoping to find a home in someone's words and I sometimes fall into traps that set me back.

Mama I try to see the light beyond those blinds, following it even into the night.

Sometimes it's a flicker of something that I never wanted to know.

Mama I have to feel even if it hurts me so because my skin must breathe and my heart must grow.
