consequence

consequence

A Poem by AKhaus

Let me teach you a lesson dear.
Let me make it abrupt, harsh and clear.
Keep three steps back and never forget I will need you always at a close distance.
Cross that line and watch me define how you have disappointed me.
You don't learn from what you did, because you don't even know what you did.
You learned by the consequence I had to impose.
Don't punish yourself for this, because you were oblivious.
Thank you teacher for such kindness.
It's always when you're down you can see beneath the shyness.
