bruises and scars

bruises and scars

A Poem by AKhaus

bruises and scars
I did bare my skin and let you in
my trust bent with time spent
you left me with empty words
you left me with wanting bruises and scars instead of this broken heart
two worlds which could not divide
you kissed me and I let you inside
you left me wanting bruises and scars rather than this hole you left behind
desire which must die and there are no goodbyes
my tender love which I gave is now fading and you will not have it ever again
