gripping my mind

gripping my mind

A Poem by AKhaus

You said something sometime which stained me on the inside.
Your eyes gripping my mind.
Entranced with the things you say and consumed with you.
Your subtle jaw line and hair tightly pulled behind.
Your eyes so telling, so real with pain, with pleasure, with life.
I fear that I must release you from this cage.
I dread the thought of the sky engulfing all that I have adored.

You said something
You said something sometime
and it stained me inside
