I wish I knew

I wish I knew

A Poem by AKhaus

I have spent all my life sorting through my madness, always leaving a trail of sadness.
Putting blame on the innocent as I keep going on and fighting these ghosts.
Hanging pain on these people that get close so that I can free my mind of such things.
I wish I knew why it's taken me this long to see what I've done.
I wish I knew.
I have spent all this time sorting through my madness and I think I am the source of all my sadness.
Putting shame on so many that only wanted to love me.
Hanging pain on the ones who want to get close.
I wish I knew why I can't seem to stay with one person to let go of all this...
I wish I knew.
