Tomorrow

Tomorrow

A Poem by AKhaus

I will see you tomorrow or maybe not at all.
It is never definite in such a strange accord.
I keep shoveling the dirt and slowly that box is being covered.
I guess I will mourn soon, but still trying to take out the stingers and love stuck deep in my skin.
I never visit the graves but think of them often.
I guess today is tomorrow and I am leaving you as the forgotten.

Heart aching, raw, touching and profoundly expressed. How facing someone final ending is really hard to accept. Even though you know in your heart and soul. It has happened. But the denial within oneself. To not accept can be overpowering. Does not matter how many days, months, years have passed to visit.
At the graveside.
