aching

aching

A Poem by AKhaus

It's the aching that truly reminds me of you.
Missing that part of me that yearns and craves you near.
I'll lay in bed just wishing you next to me.
Accepting the end is never quite they way I imagined it to be.
I just hope someday this aching will subside.

She tells me to be patient and dear god I try.
She tells me to wait for the next lift to raise me high.
It's just so hard when these things play in your mind.
Never really knowing who is real, where the truth lies.

I hear it in my ear, nothing great without sacrifice and conquer this f*****g fear.
