slip away

slip away

A Poem by AKhaus

In her quiet way she holds more than words to papers and things to say.
She holds a kindness so mild that you almost forget to see it there, holding the sun and giving you air.
She is defined by the craters in her moon but holds the sun's glow to keep you on your path.
She is bitter-sweet with her love.
Now she must slip away into another day where I will not hold her near.
