feel so mechanical

feel so mechanical

A Poem by AKhaus

I am kind, until I am not.
I am patient, until I am not
I love deeply, until I cannot.
It is not that I can't take the lashings, it's just I will not.
I am yours, until I am not.
I can forgive, until I cannot.
I am her, until I am not.

I feel so mechanical.
I feel so mechanical.
I feel so mechanical.

Words never meaning anything more that pieces of sounds beating on each other.

I feel so mechanical.
Can you hear my hands trembling as the sun lays down?

I thought lips were meant for more than just lies.
I thought there could be more than these bloody ties.

I feel so mechanical when I need to feel you inside.

I am free, until I am not.
I am there, until I am not.
I am alive, until I am not.

I feel so mechanical.
