two days

two days

A Poem by AKhaus

You get two days of my life in which I will mourn.
Nothing more as you leave me with a devastating blow.
In these days I will reflect and dissect the clever plays you moved your way.
I haven't any desire for retribution or revenge, for that would be more than the two days I will and would ever spend.
Not a piece of you will remain in my life or memory.
Eliminated by such cruel silence and such lies that you need to cover your mess.
No reason can justify such motions knowing the importance of your role in my life.
As you see you have wounded me, but today is day two and then I am rid of you.
