false tongues

false tongues

A Poem by AKhaus

With such actions you have solidified the pretext for my offense and the reason why it could never be.
Such selflessness is hopelessly selfish in your quest for your desires.
Nothing shone and nothing to reprise but a falsity so pure as the image in front of me.
Only the prey knows what the predator seeks and lays dead upon the ground.
What you seek has been sought and nothing between will ever be as subtle as the happy dagger you plunge within thee.
