I'm sorry

I'm sorry

A Poem by AKhaus

I'm sorry it's overwhelming and I am sorry it takes so much to handle.
It's like threads of the blouse loosened and you are afraid of your nakedness to come.
I'm sorry there has to be closure and that words need to pass without hesitating to comfort you in this chaos.
It can be a wildfire consuming so much so quickly and you have to step away.
You have to maintain, you have to stay calm yet the storm inside is shaking you with worries.
I'm sorry that houses are built then collapse and I am sorry things start then stop before you wish them to last.
You'll be home again soon to listen to your train.
You'll be home again soon but just not the same.
