the dichotomous lover

the dichotomous lover

A Poem by AKhaus

She is soft and kind, as her hands hide behind her back with poison and daggers.
Cleverly bad at being clever she exposes such flaws so modest and revealing.
Her mind is a dichotomy of what she will say and do, live and lie.
A patch of green grass feeding on the corpses of her foes.
She is quiet and patient, as her mind wields a crafty labyrinth of true and false faces shifting swiftly as you look away.
