Walk

Walk

A Poem by AKhaus

This change is slow and it’s beginning to turn back in on me like a haunting foe.
Not long is the distance to the naked eye but the hole it’s leaving is causing such an ill mind.
And here goes the chime, a sadist melody:

I walk alone.
I walk very slow.
I’m walking away.
I’m fading with each step as I try to look away.
