Shallow

Shallow

A Poem by AKhaus

Captured on the service of the water, I fear the shallow will drown this place inside of me for you.
Nothing so desperate as the frantic motions surround me with inevitable ends, I cannot keep above without losing all that I have to be.

This makes me think of someone drowning in shallow water. I know that sounds like a paradox, but I think that is what makes this poem unique.
