mercurial deeds

mercurial deeds

A Poem by AKhaus

What was white hastily turns tainted with blue and yellow as the hand changes directions from help to hindrance in one full motion.
Faces changed and voices dropped as the angels swarm as vultures above their game.
Colors converted from primal natures to sublimated factors of conformity.
Concealed in a seamless faucet of fear, the baby lamb cries with no mother to ever appear.
What vengeance can be played as the sentimental spirit toils in its fantasy of the unattainable utopia?
No steps can be made, no advancement to measure.
Stagnant and soiled that creature can only be true under the enchantment of the lunar serenity.
Mercurial deeds transmute purity to dishonesty by the progression of hunger within.
Whole from the beginning and left hollow by living for envy contaminates our wells with lovely green.
