estranged

estranged

A Poem by AKhaus

estranged and deranged I am spiraling down this oak tree with a thousand tears.
its roots dipped in blood and my heart hanging from the limbs.
how I've felt less than the smallest grain of sand just by staying here, obedient and fading.
the drums are calling me and I am leaving soon.
lips sewn for so long you cannot remember their last words, you're just numb, standing but void.
the tentacles of that bottomless creature are more delicate now and somehow I don't think that fear will be missed.
