placid

placid

A Poem by AKhaus

She waits by a wooden boat on the shore, never leaving the sand's touch.
The journey has yet to start or is near its end.
Her eyes looking off into the distance as the sun slowly bows behind the clouds.
Where she has wandered she cannot go and the places she's left cannot be seen over such high white crests.
Lonely and blue, her dreams seem to linger here in this placid view.
