Once kept and then set free

Once kept and then set free

A Poem by AKhaus

Fill me up with your total and utter chaos.
Stretch my mind, my body, my life to an expanse beyond all reason.
I no longer wish to be a spectator of your destruction but the creature in which you annihilate.
Crazy, crazy little love...you have entered into my blood.
Fused to the sound of our entangled realms, we dance about in our faulted fables and haunted tales.
What pleasure can there be?
Paused in my sobriety of this emotional distillery, I have become voided by your neglect of me.
The star which once exploded into a universe of color and light is now an abyss of empty dreams.
My construct has unraveled and I lay in the wind.
The rains soak me and the sun bleaches my skin.
And then the madness ended.
What I thought was so precious is now just a distant memory.
Once kept and then set free.
Once kept and then set free.
Once kept and then set free.
