Feels like everything is a lie when you look at me.
I don’t know who to trust or why to trust.
Feels like love then the sharp stabbing wakes me and it’s over.
What’s the point if it’s so jagged and raw?
Why do I always have to learn to crawl?
I hate that barriers seem to cut me this way.
I have to betray my heart so you can stay.
Feels so sweet until I need, then I’m a burden and not so nice to love.
My animal cannot keep still and I’m going to have to taste more of the kill.
