Flicker

Flicker

A Poem by AKhaus

I think I saw a flicker of light in your eyes.
I felt your warmth pushing through and I am entranced, I am addicted.
My thoughts are on this single page as I adore your movements from my hidden cage.
This shooting star has me amazed and my heart bestowed by such a delicate thing as the love inside those eyes.
Unable to quit this, incapable of ceasing such uncontrollable adorations, I stay spent upon this precipice.
I know not of anything so clear and pure as the energy which fills me when I think of those eyes.
I know there is a flicker, a spark in those eyes and that is why I cannot subside.
