Is as before

Is as before

A Poem by AKhaus

She is as she was, left unfiltered and with great disdain.
The circus arrived but she would no longer play.
Doors left closed and memories churning in the fire of her pain.
Her voice unsung and her body laid lame by such cruel intentions which robbed her find.
Fixated on the misery she has forgotten her rhyme.
Here today gone tomorrow never enough time to say goodbye.
