Sacrament

Sacrament

A Poem by AKhaus

Notions and prayers they do me no good.

I straddle two worlds and I am coming undone.

Pardon my latency, pardon my quivering speech - for I am so horrified by this unraveling that splits me between.

Blood or soul which will be paid?
A hollow vision and an invisible stain.

Contempt of loving and spite for the unsaid, I will wait another moment but soon I’ll be dead.

You said so much in so little words... Though, it left me wanting more (in a good way). Great write!
