I hate

I hate

A Poem by AKhaus

I hate that I’m here, in this place, this rage eating me and beating me down.

I hate, hate that I want to destroy everything. Tear it all apart, destroying it down to the studs of flesh and blood.

I hate my beast, this beast I feed with doubts, memories and misery.

I hate this hurt. I hate myself.
I hate this hate.

God give me something to crawl from this pit.

Will it go away, this haunting of my soul which leaves me perverse with anger and spite.

How do I, how do I do what needs to be done to bury the creature of dark reeking malice and contempt?

Sever her fast or shall it be slow? How shall she meet her end?
